We have now properly specified a value from the customer's viewpoint, we have removed as much waste from the process as possible, we have lined up value-creating actions in the best sequence, and we have ensured that these activities will be carried out more effectively and without interruption whenever someone requests them.
We can now draw a completely new process map. This will be the template for everyone involved in the service to follow from now on until we find a better way.
