Care by Design understands the fundamentals of organisational development, service management and leadership for the 21st century public sector organisation and communities.

Alzheimer’s Society

I had the privilege of working together with Angie during the first quarter of 2010, to prepare the Alzheimer’s Society ‘End of Life in Dementia Care’ training package for accreditation with Surrey University.

Angie is conscientious and thorough in her work and has a lovely manner that makes each contact a pleasure to experience.

Angie is thorough in her research and maintains regular contact to check that progress made is within the contractual requirements.

I have no doubt that without Angie’s professional approach and a keen eye for detail along with her knowledge and experience in delivering adult learning interventions; it would have taken a much longer timeframe to achieve the accreditation for our programme.

I also had the pleasure of assessing Angie against Alzheimer’s Society Quality standards as a trainer where she achieved the status of a Specialist Subject trainer.

I would not hesitate to recommend her skills and expertise and would welcome the opportunity to work with her again in the future.

Quality Assurance Manager, Learning and Talent Development

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust

Angela worked for a BCHC led consortia on the development of a bid to provide end of life care for people in Birmingham. She worked closely with service design teams from all consortia members and was responsible for pulling together the overall service offer.

The project was challenging, partly due to the innovative/complex model being proposed by the commissioners. The other key challenge was around working with a consortium involving members from public, private and third sectors.

Angela showed a strength of character throughout and reacted well to everything that was thrown her way. Turnaround time for her deliverables was quick and she dealt sensitively with the politics of working with the sectors represented in our consortia.

I would certainly like to work with Angela again.

Angie Nisbet moved from podiatry into healthcare management, retaining her passion for human connection and high-quality safe patient care. She can encourage frontline workers to develop and sustain their own innovations. She can motivate and explain in terms that all audiences can understand.

I would like to provide feedback for the session that was facilitated on Tuesday 10th of June 2008 on Complexity.

The session was excellent and I speak for all the sessions that I have attended so far including the sessions for the Single Point of Access (SPA). They are pitched at the correct level and are easy to understand and relate to; this, in turn, makes the sessions interesting and ensures concentration and digestion of information.

I have learnt a great deal from the sessions and being new to my role I have found them of great benefit. I do find you very inspirational and for me personally will digest information when I see credibility and personal experience in the teacher.

I feel it would be beneficial for you to run this programme throughout the services and certainly feel it would be of great benefit to the organisation for you to be involved in setting up the vision.

I am cascading this knowledge throughout my teams and require them to recite the LEAN principles on arrival to work (only joking!).
